The elegant, and well known lilac blossom takes center stage early in the spring season and is one of the first flowers to usher in the season of new beginnings! Enchanting clusters of tiny blossoms come together to create quaint floral displays with amazing color and a sweet-smelling fragrance that brings with it a feeling of gentility and old world charm! Join us in celebrating a perennial favorite…Introducing the Lush Lilac Collection by Heartfelt Creations! Venture out for a springtime stroll through a dreamy, garden themed paper collection filled with soft hues of luscious lavenders, deep purples, sky blues and pastel pinks accented with dreamy and romantic illustrations of cozy cottages, lilac filled parasols and lovely lilac filled garden settings! Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 6” x 12”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to make a base card of 6” x 6”.  Cut a piece of Iris cardstock at 6” x 7” and die cut the lace edge from the HCD1-7161 Sweetheart Borders die on both sides of the card.  Die cut 3 cages from Iris cardstock and adhere to the top of the card on the back, with the centre cage slightly higher.

Take the 6” x 6” patterned panel and die cut the inner square using the Cut Mat Create 2A die.  Using the frame as a template adhere the centre to the front of the Iris card.  Die cut a cage from white cardstock and adhere to the front of the panel.  Stamp the small lilac spray image from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth paper and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour the image in with Zig brush markers and adhere to the bottom of the cage.  Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink, and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilac to the lilac spray.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre.  Stamp the bird images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with the corresponding die.  Colour with Canteloupe, Summer Sky and Sweet Petunia inks and add Ultrafine Crystal glitter with glue gloss.  Add a bird to the top of the lilac spray.

Cut a piece of clear cardstock 3 ¾” x 5 ½” and score ½” in from each end on the long side. Bend slightly and adhere on the sides of the frame.  Adhere the frame to the card base with foam tape.  Die cut another cage out of white cardstock and adhere over the clear cardstock over the previous cage image.  Cut 3 cages out of the Iris cardstock and adhere to the back of this panel with the centre one being slightly higher.  Adhere the card front to the card base.  Cut the sentiment from the patterned paper and adhere to the top of the card as shown.

Stamp the umbrella image from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die. Colour in with Zig brush markers and shape lightly and adhere to the bottom left of the card.

Stamp the long lilac spray image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour in with Zig markers and shape lightly and adhere to the top right of the bird cage coming down the right side of the cage.

Stamp the lilacs and buds from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink, and Bamboo Leaves ink on the stems of the buds and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilacs to the umbrella and over the long lilac spray and around the sentiment as shown.

Shape lightly and adhere above the umbrella and on the right as shown.
