CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our first Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.  If you have arrived here from Sharyn’s Blog then you are in the right place.  If you landed here by accident, no problem please join in following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share some of the fabulous products from the Holidays with Heart Gift Guide live now through December 31st.

My creation is double sided step card which was very easy to do, except that I made the card smaller than the original design which I got from Glimmercraft.blogspot.ca.  The original was a 5 x 7 inch card and I wanted to make a 4 x 6 inch card so  I played around with some scrap paper first to get the dimensions right.  I was then able to cut into the cardstock and use my paper pattern which meant less mistakes and wasted cardstock.  If you would like the dimensions please leave a comment below and I will look at posting them at another date. I have stamped the Santa images using Ruby ink and then fussy cut them out and adhered them using foam tape to make them stand out.   They are sooo cute.

CTMH Sparkle and Shine Christmas CardMaterials used:

Sparkle and Shine paper

Clear sparkles

Stamp sets – Workshops on the Go Sparkle and Shine, Santa Claus

Bakers twine – grey

Cricut Cartridge – Art Philosophy

All the products in the Holidays with Heart Gift Guide are available through December 31st from your CTMH consultant while stocks last.  Some items are in short supply so order early to avoid disappointment.  Orders totaling over $150 during the promotion can choose one starred item from The Holidays with Heart Gift Guide for free so it is an ideal time to purchase one of our Cricut Collections or our ink and marker organiser.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation and please check out what Monika has done on her blog A Sprinkle of Glitter.  I love the name of her blog and I can’t wait to see what she has done as well.

I found the Easter Bunny!

Today I went out to take some photos down at the Hutt River and came across an errant bunny in the bushes around the bridge.  I managed to get one photo of it before it disappeared.  I thought the timing was quite timely especially as we have just had Easter in the weekend.  However, I could not find any Easter eggs – lol!

The Easter Bunny

While on Easter I have just purchased the Creative Memories Border Maker rustic fence cartridge and I could not resist making one last Easter card with it.  I can see myself using this cartridge a lot – and distressing it with inks as well.  This would look lovely with flowers and leaves climbing up on it on a card.  This cartridge is while stocks last only.

It seems strange to put a cute lamb on an Easter card in the southern hemisphere as Easter is a sign of Autumn for us with the changing colours of leaves and cooler temperatures (?), but it is a sign of rebirth that is universal.  I also love using the Classic Stickers from Creative Memories they are so colourful and pretty. Plus they are reasonably priced.

The sentiment on this card was last weeks freebie from Creative Memories that I printed off from my StoryBook Creator, as well as the background paper.

Materials used in this card:

Creative Memories Cardstock – Green Apple

Creative Memories Stickers – Easter

Creative Memories Border Maker – rustic fence cartridge

Creative Memories Reflections Digital Kit

Creative Memories freebie sentiment

I hope that you all had a great Easter.
